Awards & Honours
Recognising research excellence, innovation, and scholarly achievement among faculty, researchers, and students of BUET.
Each year, RISE-BUET recognises the research and innovation excellence of faculty members, researchers, and students of BUET by awarding and honouring highly accomplished faculty researchers and promising student researchers. The awards are highly competitive; the number of awards in each category is decided by the Board of Governors (BoG), RISE.
Faculty Research Awards
Professor
- Highly accomplished Professors of BUET will be honoured annually.
- Self-nominations or peer-nominations sought from Professors of BUET.
- Selection criteria and award amount approved by the BoGs.
- RISE Director, Associate Directors and VCE Fellows are not eligible during their tenure.
- A previous Senior Researcher Award winner cannot be re-nominated.
Assoc. Professor
Asst. Professor
Post-doctoral
- Highly accomplished Associate/Assistant Professors and Post-doctoral researchers of BUET are eligible.
- Self-nominations or peer-nominations are accepted.
- Selection criteria and award amount approved by the BoGs.
- RISE Director, Associate Directors and VCE Fellows are not eligible during their tenure.
- A previous Young Researcher Award winner cannot be re-nominated.
